SOLATUBE - TUBULAR SKYLIGHTS

The Solatube Tubular 160DS & 290DS Skylights are highly effective and easy to install. The Solatube daylighting systems are available in two sizes and designed to suit any room that needs brightening up.

The Solatube products use an innovative technology that nearly doubles the Effective Daylight Capture Surface (EDCS) compared to ordinary domes used by other tubular skylights. Solatube uses advanced technology to capture more sunlight.

The LightTracker™ Reflector is an innovative in-dome reflector that:

Redirects low angle winter sunlight for maximum light capture
Increases light input for greater light output

The Raybender® 3000 Technology is a patented daylight-capturing dome lens that:

Rejects overpowering summer midday sunlight
Redirects low angle winter sunlight for maximum light capture

SOLATUBE TUBULAR SKYLIGHT FLASHINGS

There is a Solatube® flashing available for nearly all types of roofs and pitches. These flashing not only provide a complete leak proof protection, they also create an attractive appearance on any roof.

The Solatube® flashing are fabricated as a single piece and are designed to provide the optimal position for the dome to capture daylight on slope roofs.

The Solatube® flashing are available to suit the following roof types and pitches:

No Pitch – for use on low pitch or no pitch roofs and must be used in conjunction with over flashing systems.
Pitched – for use on a sloped roof and provides a horizontal opening
Concrete Tile – for use on a concrete roof tile for the 160DS, the Universal Tile flashing is to be used for the 290DS
Terracotta Tile – for use with all Terracotta roofs
Metal Trimdek – for use on a “Trimdek” roof for the 160DS
Metal Corruagated – for use on a metal corrugated roof
Universal – for use on any type of tile roof for the bush fire prone areas
